気鋭の漫画家・はらだの初個展を2017年9月5日よりヴァニラ画廊にて開催いたします。2014年にデビューしたはらだはマスターピースと言える代表作『よるとあさの歌』『やたもも』を始め、多くの傑作怪作を発表し続けています。
魅惑的な登場人物や心の奥底を抉るような物語構成で、アンビバレンスな人間関係、そしてハードでエロティックなドラマを描く実力派の作家です。
展覧会では、漫画原稿、カラーイラストを紹介するほか、インスタレーションとして漫画に登場するキャラクター達の世界観を再現します。また、会場でのオリジナルグッズも販売予定です。漫画内の名場面の数々とともに、弩級のストーリーテラー・はらだの世界観の魅力に迫ります。

Vanilla Gallery is proud to hold the first exhibition of a spirited manga artist Harada (opens on September 5, 2017). Harada, who debuted in 2014, has been publishing a number of outstanding/bizarre works, including the major works “Yoru to Asa no Uta” and “Yatamomo”, which are both regarded as masterpieces.
Harada is a talented artist expressing ambivalent human relationships in hard erotic drama with fascinating characters and heartbreaking story structures. This exhibition features original manga images and color illustrations, as well as an installation to reproduce the worldview of characters that appear in Harada’s works. Original goods will also be sold at the exhibition. With famous scenes in the manga works, the exhibition explores the appeal of the fascinating worldview of a towering storyteller, Harada.

Harada made an artistic debut with a book entitled “Henai” in 2014. Harada’s major works include “Yoru to Asa no Uta”, “Yatamomo (3 volumes)” (Takeshobo), and “Color Recipe” (KADOKAWA), etc.
